Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava is asking Harley-Davidson to relocate its largest manufacturing facility to upstate Yew York.

The motorcycle giant is considering relocating its largest facility from Pennsylvania to potential sites in the midwest, Scozzafava says in a press release.

Her letter is addressed to Harley's President and Chief Operating Officer, Matt Levatich. It says upstate New York should be added to the list because of its workforce, a robust college network, low cost power and a program of economic incentives.

Scozzafava invited Levatich to tour the upstate region.

I Like that idea. Nobody ever thought about that, they have a dealership in Adams Center, this would give Harley-Davidson a great presence in this area. I don't ride a motorcycle however I see more and more of them every day. It is a cost effective alternative to gas guzzling clunkers.
