St. Lawrence Conty Sheriff's deputies have made a second arrest in the April burglary of a diner in the Town of Russell.

Deputies arrested 26-year-old Andrew M. Waninger of Lazy River Road, Hermon this morning on charges of 3rd degree Burglary and 4th degree Criminal Mischief. They allege that Waninger kicked open the back door of the Bear's Paw Diner on County Route 24 at around 2 am on April 23rd, gaining entry and stealing frozen food from the diner's freezer.

Waninger was arraigned in Town of Canton Court and released on his own recognizance pending further court appearances.

Last week, deputies arrested Canton resident Adam K. Field for his part in the burglary. He was also released pending further court appearance.
