Update:
The Watertown Times identifies the two seriously injured as six year old Julianna Marino and 28-year old Jenna Seebach, both in the smaller vehicle. Julianna is in critical condition and Ms. Seebach, in fair condition in Syracuse.
Several people were injured, two seriously, when two vehicles collided on Watertown's Arsenal Street Friday evening.
City Police say a large SUV with six passengers was headed eastbound about 5:30 p.m.
It was hit head on by a small passenger car with three occupants which crossed into the opposite lane.
The occupants of both vehicles were taken to Samaritan Medical Center. Two were later transferred to a Syracuse Hospital.
At latest word none of the victims' names had been released as family members were still being notified.
The investigation of the accident involves the Watertown Police Department's accident investigation team, with help from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department's crash reconstruction team.
