A Lewis County man was seriously hurt in a one car crash late Sunday in Lyons Falls.
The Sheriff's Department says Edward Sturtevant, no age listed, drove off State Route 12 and lost control on loose gravel.
His vehicle skidded back across the highway and crashed into a guard rail, skidded back across the highway and then back into the guard rail, according to deputies.
Sturtevant was taken to Lewis County General Hospital and later transfered to University Hospital in Syracuse with injuries to his face and head.
He's been charged with felony DWI, unsafe speed, failure to keep right, crossing hazard markings and not wearing a seatbelt.
