Leray -- No one was hurt following the conclusion of an armed stand off that took place for several hours Thursday in the Town of LeRay.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says the ordeal began with a call of a domestic dispute at a home on the Goulds Corners Rd at around 2 pm. Sheriffs deputies say one of those involved, 33 year old Jason Love, exited the house wearing fatigues and armed, threatening police before going back inside the home. The other party was located outside of the house. Love allegedly fired several shots during the stand off, but later peacefully surrendered at around 7:30 pm last night.
He is facing several charges and was ordered held in the Jefferson County jail on $15,000 bail.
