A registered sex offender in St. Lawrence County is accused of sexually abusing a child.
Sheriff's investigators charge 25 year old Timothy E. McGregor of West Stockholm with forcible touching, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanor counts.
McGregor, currently on parole for a sex crime, is also charged with a parole violation.
He was arraigned and sent to St. Lawrence County jail with bail set at $5,000.
Investigators say McGregor grabbed a child under the age of 14 in an intimate part of the child's body.
McGregor has a prior conviction of attempted rape involving a 13 year old girl.
