Shoplifting arrests made at Leray Super Walmart

Leray (WWTI) -- Three people were arrested for two separate instances of alleged shoplifting at the Super Walmart in Leray.

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies say 68 year old Flora Alice Smith of Philadelphia was arrested for Petit Larceny after she allegedly "Passed all points of purchase" with $167.01 worth of merchandise she did not pay for.

Smith is scheduled to appear in the Town of Leray Court to answer to the charge on December 3rd.

Deputies also arrested 19 year old Courtney Tanner of Pamelia and 25 year old Jeremy lee Flowers of Watertown for stealing 2 computers. Police allege they stole 2 Gateway computers with a total value of $1,296. They have been charged with Grand Larceny, both were remanded to the Jefferson County Jail with bail for each set at $5,000.
