Savory Downtown is asking local residents “So you think you’re funny?”
North Country residents with a few jokes up their sleeves will now have the opportunity to compete against one another for a chance to co-host Comedy Thursday’s at Savory Downtown.
Starting Thursday, March 29th, Savory Downtown will kick off their ‘Watertown’s Rising Comics Contest’ where two to three participants will compete with their best jokes for three minutes. At the end of the show the audience will decide who the best amateur comedian was.
The winner of contest will host the next Comedy Thursday at Savory Downtown alongside the headlining comedian. The winner will also receive a table for 7 in the front row, and a complimentary pizza and bucket of beer.
‘Watertown’s Rising Comic Contest’ will take place throughout the next couple months. Anyone interested in competing can sign up by contacting Savory Downtown at 315-788-0272.
