Town of Russell - Following an investigation by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, County Drug Task Force Detectives have charged Edgar T. Blackmer, 44, of 70 Dana Hill Road, Town of Russell, with a Misdemeanor count of Unlicensed Marijuana Grow and Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree, a class C Felony.
It is alleged Mr. Blackmer possessed an outdoor marijuana grow around his residence in the Town of Russell and did not have a license to do so. The marijuana had an aggregate weight of more than 10 pounds.
Mr. Blackmer was arraigned in the Town of Canton Court and released to the supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department. Mr. Blackmer is due back in court on October 15th for further proceedings.
