St. Lawrence County man rear ends an Amish Buggy, faces charges

Oswegatchie -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies have charged 23 year old Travis Quicke of Rensselaer Falls, with Leaving The Scene of a Personal Injury Accident and Un-inspected Motor Vehicle.

Police received a report of a motor vehicle and an Amish Buggy accident on the Irish Settlement Rd. in the Town of Oswegatchie. Investigators say Quicke rear ended the buggy and then fled the scene of the accident. Quicke was later located in the Town of Canton.

An infant riding in the buggy was transported to Canton Potsdam Hospital with a leg injury.
