The Stanley Cup will be coming to Ogdensburg next week when native and NHL star Jimmy Howard comes for a visit.

Howard, goalie for the Cup-winning Detroit Redwings, will visit his hometown bearing the Cup on Thursday, September 4th. During his visit he will take the Cup to OFA, Madill, and Kennedy schools from 1-3 pm where students can get autographs and have their picture taken with the trophy.

From 5-8 pm, Howard will be outside near the Dobisky Visitor Center in front of the marina, where people can come to get autographs and photos. DJ Don Swan will provide music for the event.
