Pulaski (WSYR-TV) -- State Police are investigating whether or not an attempted robbery in the Village of Pulaski and a robbery in the Village of Sandy Creek are related, but they need your help locating and identifying the suspect.
Police say the man pictured attempted to rob the Top’s Market, on Rome Road in the Village of Pulaski, just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
The man had a weapon and demanded money, but ran before getting away with any cash, police said.
Police say the same suspect was involved in an armed robbery nearly a half-an-hour later at the Sandy Creek Mobil on US Route 11 in the Village of Sandy Creek. This time the suspect got away with cash.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8-inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a brown jacket, a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a knit cap and a camouflage bandana.
State Police in Pulaksi, the Oswego Sheriff’s Department and the Pulaski Police Department are investigating.
