One inmate hit another on the head with a rock during a fight in the rec yard at Watertown Correctional Facility, State Police say.
Gery Pina, 27, was charged with a felony count of assault for the incident involving 19 year old Dartanyan Kingsberry.
The incident took place about 6 p.m. on June 16th.
Pina is serving a five year sentence for weapons possession. He has a parole hearing scheduled in September.
He was arraigned in town of Watertown Court and remanded back to the custody of the State Correctional Services pending grand jury action.
