Star Lake -- The St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services has issued a State of Emergency in the Town of Fine because of low water pressure and the lack of water supply in the Star Lake Water District.
Until further notice, all users of the Star Lake Water System are prohibited from the use hoses, sprinklers or other means of watering. Washing automobiles, trucks, trailers or other equipment. Washing streets, driveways, homes or other outdoor surfaces or filling swimming pools.
Anyone caught violating this emergency order is subject to a fine of $250 for the first offense and $500 for any subsequent offenses.
