Fire Monday morning destroyed a storage barn a few miles north of Evans Mills in Jefferson County.
Several fire departments were called to the Don and Gertrude Matteson property at 30388 Ansted Road about 11 a.m.
No one was in the barn and the alarm was called in by a passerby, fire officials said.
The barn had farm and welding equipment inside.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
