Watertown -- Wednesday afternoon at around 2:30 police responded to suspicious activity in the parking lot of the North Country Orthopedic Group on Washington St. in Watertown.
Sheriff's Deputies arrested 35 year old Catherine Barnett of Ohio St. Watertown, for Criminal Possession of a controlled substance. According to police, Barnett had 8 Grams of Crack Cocaine and $4,600 in cash on her.
Further investigation revealed that Barnett also had a warrant for her arrest from Jefferson County Family Court.
Barnett was arraigned in Town of Watertown Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail where she is being held on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
Sheriff's Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Jefferson County Drug Task Force and the Watertown Police Department.
