Sub shop book keeper alegedly took over $6,000

Watertown -- A bookkeeper for a Subway restaurant in Watertown has been charged with embezzling money. 

City police arrested 29 year old Christopher Thurston of LaFargeville and charged him with third degree grand larceny.  Thurston is alleged to have taken over $6000 from the business on Eastern Blvd between August 2010 and February of this year. 

He was arraigned and released pending grand jury action.
