Tax day protests will be held at two sites in the city of Watertown, according to organizers.

National Tea Parties will be held in over 1,900 communities across the country, according to latest estimates.

Elizabeth, "Eli" Schultz, wife of a Fort Drum soldier, is holding one in front of City Hall from noon to 2 p.m.

"We are indebting our grandchildren" with out-of-control government spending, Mrs. Schultz said.

And Adams Center businessman Erik Dunk is holding another one of the protests just up the street at the State Office Building, scheduled from noon to 1 p.m.

"Tea - it stands for Taxed Enough Already," Dunk said. "Obama and Paterson are taxing us to death."

Dunk's business, Iron Block Harley Davidson, has a digital sign facing Interstate 81. These days it reads "Obama: impeach the dictator."

"I've only gotten one negative call about it," Dunk said.

St. Lawrence County is hosting two of the parties, both around the noon hour. One is in Canton; the other in Gouverneur.
