A Lewis County teenager tried to hit three pedestrians with her vehicle, according to sheriff's deputies.

The incident happened about a week ago in Lyons Falls. Deputies said that Kyle Riesel was making a turn onto Laura Street when another driver, 17 year old Mariah Mashaw intentionally ran into his rear bumper.

Riesel stopped in a parking lot a short distance away and he and his two passengers, ages 15 and 16 got out and stood near the vehicle. That's when Mashaw tried to hit all three with her vehicle but was unsuccessful, deputies said.

Mashaw was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

She was released on appearance tickets returnable in town of Lyonsdale court.
