Two Ogdensburg teens allegedly stalked and menaced a female driver before learning she was an off-duty Ogdensburg police officer.
Danielle Pryce was on her way home from work about 3 a.m. Sunday on County Route 28 in Lisbon.
That's when the vehicle she was following did a U-turn and began to follow her, flashing its lights and trying to force her off the road, according to sheriff's deputies.
When Pryce pulled into a residential driveway on County Route 27 to seek assistance, the two teens in the car got out and followed her to the house, deputies said.
Backed into a corner, Pryce identified herself as a police officer, pulled her service weapon and ordered the teens to the ground.
The teens, 17 year olds Tanner M. Lawrence and Decodie T. Adams, failed to comply and eventually left the scene.
Pryce was able to get their vehicle registration number, leading to deputies locating the vehicle on County Route 10 in Lisbon.
Both were charged with reckless endangerment, menacing, stalking, attempted assault and obstructing governmental administration.
Lawrence was also charged with DWI and multiple traffic infractions.
Lawrence and Adams were arraigned in Canton town court and remanded to county jail with bail set at $5,000 each.
Lawrence lists an address of 614 Hasbrouck Street and Adams, 912 Lake Street in Ogdensburg.
