Three Carthage Men Arrested for Stealing from former Paper Mill
Deferiet - Three Carthage men are under arrest after allegedly getting caught in the act of burglarizing the former paper mill in Deferiet.
State Police say they responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near the mill Wednesday. The three suspects were located inside and were allegedly removing electrical wire from the interior.
Charged with third degree burglary are 33 year old Kevin Come Jr., 30 year old Andrew LaFave, and 43 year old Scott Honnes. Honnes was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana for allegedly possessing a smoking pipe with marijuana residue.
All three were arraigned. Honnes and Come were released on their own recognizance while LaFave was ordered held in the Jefferson County jail on $2,500 bail.
