Tractor Trailer accident closes a portion of Interstate 81 near Adams Center
Adams Center (WWTI) -- A Tractor Trailer carrying a Bulldozer, jack knifed this morning in the south bound lane of Interstate 81 near the Adams Center exit.
Traffic is backed up and being routed around the Exit 42 off ramp. That portion of 81 is closed while crews attempt to clean up the damage caused by the early morning accident. The Route 177 over pass that crosses Interstate 81 is also closed.
No word on what caused the accident or if anyone was hurt.
