Watertown (Nathan Lehman WTNY) -- One day after filing suit against 16 head shops across the state, judges across the New York have issued temporary restraining orders against a 12 of those shops, blocking them from selling designer drugs, including bath salts.

The Trip on the Wildside II business on Mill St. in Watertown was among the businesses affected by the court order. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's suit comes following an undercover investigation conducted by his office in which those working for the AG's office were able to allegedly purchase the items at the cited shops.

The owner of the Watertown business has denied the allegations.
