Tuesday morning house fire, Heuvelton family loses home and pets
Heuvelton (WWTI) -- A fire Tuesday morning has left four people homeless.
The Heuvelton Fire Department and the Ogdensburg Rescue Squad responded to the call at 10am but were unable to save the structure that also took the life of the family Dog and Cat. The St. Lawrence County Fire Investigation Team says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Fire Officials say the home, located at 628, County Route 4 in the Town of Oswegatchie, was owned by Tim Simmons.
The home was insured.
