Unemployment numbers remain steady for November in Norhtern New York
Watertown -- The latest jobless numbers for the North County are out.
For the month of November, the unemployment rates for both Jefferson and St. Lawrence Counties were down slightly from year to year, with a slight increase in Lewis County. Jefferson County's unemployment rate for the month was 9.4%, down from 9.5% in November of last year. Those are the exact same numbers for St. Lawrence County. Lewis County's unemployment rate was 9%, up from 8.8% in November 2011.
The state wide average for the month was 7.9%
