A new cell site in Lafargeville will improve coverage and capacity for Verizon high speed wireless customers, the company says.
The improvement will affect Lafargeville and portions of Routes 81, 411 and 181.
Verizon says it is investing more than $100 million in upstate New York in 2009.
The 3G network coverage applies to data services such as picture messaging, text messaging, V CAST and MobileBroadband.
