Watertown DPW: Traffic Advisory
Watertown - The City of Watertown Public Works Department has announced that Mechanic Street will be closed to thru traffic between Factory Street and Emerson Street beginning at 7:30 AM on Wednesday, October 10th.
The road closure is required to repair sewer pipes and is expected to be completed by Tuesday, October 16th.
Public works crews will follow standard protocol to establish traffic control on site while the project is underway. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during daytime hours for the duration of this project. If traveling through, motorists should exercise caution when encountering works crews and work zones.
