Woman "Covered in Blood" arrested for DWI

Rutland (Riley Keenan WTNY) -- A 25-year-old Rutland woman has been charged with DWI after rolling over her ATV Saturday night.

Police say, Charleen Wagner drove off the side of County Route 69 and crashed her ATV. She was found "covered in blood with multiple abrasions, rolling on the ground and moaning in pain". Police detected a strong odor of alcohol on the woman, and a blood sample was taken at Samaritan Medical Center.

Wagner was also charged with illegal operation of an ATV and not wearing a helmet.

She's due in Rutland Town Court October 2.
