A Watertown woman was arrested on multiple charges after she threatened her husband with a screw driver in front of their two children.
Watertown Police arrested Sarah Garcia, 22, Lansing Street and charged her with Menacing the in the 2nd, Endangering the Welfare of a child, Harassment in the 2nd and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th.
According to police, Garcia went towards her husband, Pedroa Garcia Perez, holding an 8-inch screwdriver with the intent of striking him with the weapon. Garcia did strike her husband during the dispute, causing scratches to his arm.
Garcia is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, when it was discovered that her 14-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter were in the same room during the altercation. During the domestic dispute Garcia threw the 8-inch screwdriver across the room where the children were located.
Garcia was processed at the Public Safety Building and released.
