Canandaigua (WHAM -TV) - The woman accused of profiting from fundraisers because police say she lied about having breast cancer now faces 16 separate counts.
Melissa Jones pleaded not guilty in court on Wednesday morning.
Canandaigua Police arrested Jones, 30, in February. Investigators allege that thousands of dollars was raised for Jones at various events.
A grand jury indicted Jones on 16 separate counts. The most serious charges she faces are three counts of grand larceny.
A judge set bail at $25,000. Jones is expected back in court in July.
