Watertown (WTNY) -- While members of the Watertown City Council may disagree with each other over the so called "roommate law", they do agree on one thing... harassment against a citizen who spurred the controversy needs to end.

During this week's City Council meeting, Council members and Mayor Jeff Graham said pranks that have been committed against Deborah Cavallario have to stop. According to Graham, since the controversy went viral several weeks ago, there have been instances of pizzas and Chinese food being sent to Cavallario's home on Thompson Blvd. Orders she did not make herself. The businesses themselves have to eat the cost of those rejected orders.

Graham also says there was a case of a prostitute from Central New York being sent to the home.

Cavallario spurred the change in the zoning law last month after complaining of the living arrangements of her neighbors next door.
