Recap: Detroit vs. James Madison

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Jason Calliste scored 19 points, leading five playes in double figures, as the Detroit Titans notched an 82-70 triumph over the James Madison Dukes in BracketBusters action at Calihan Hall.

Donovan Foster added 12 points in the win for Detroit (17-12), while the trio of LaMarcus Lowe, Evan Bruinsma, and Doug Anderson each contributed 10 points for the Titans.

A.J. Davis posted a game-high 26 points to lead the way for JMU (11-18), while Andrey Semenov and Gene Swindle netted 14 and 10 points, respectively.

The Titans connected on a blistering 62.5 percent of their attempts from the field during the opening stanza to earn a 45-38 halftime lead.

JMU was then stifled to the tune of 40.9 percent from the floor over the final 20 minutes as the Titans rolled to a 12-point win.

The Dukes were guilty of a game-high 12 giveaways during the contest.
