Recap: Minnesota vs. Tampa Bay
Fort Myers, FL (Sports Network) - Justin Morneau hit a pair of home runs and finished with five RBI as the Minnesota Twins crushed the Tampa Bay Rays, 19-4, in Grapefruit League action on Saturday.
Luke Hughes finished 5-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and five RBI, while J.R. Towles and Chris Parmelee had solo shots for the Twins. Denard Span knocked in two runs, Jamey Carroll had an RBI and starter Jeff Gray allowed two runs in two innings for the win.
Chris Gimenez had a solo home run and two RBI, while Will Rhymes and Greg Sexton had an RBI apiece for Tampa Bay. Starter Jeremy Hellickson gave up 10 runs on 11 hits in three innings.
