Recap: Miami vs. Philadelphia

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Eighty-five of Cliff Lee's 115 pitches went for strikes as the veteran left-hander tossed his 12th career shutout to guide the Philadelphia Phillies to a 3-0 victory over the Miami Marlins in the rubber match of a three-game series from Marlins Park.

Lee (5-2) struck out five and surrendered just three hits for Philadelphia, which improved to .500 on the road. Lee also went 2-for-4 at the plate to raise his batting average to .316.

Delmon Young homered for the second straight game and scored twice, while Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins collected two hits apiece.

Kevin Slowey (1-5) left after five innings with an apparent strained left lat muscle. Slowey had allowed just one run on six hits while fanning six.
