Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards could have their top player back this weekend.

According to a recent blog entry by Wizards owner Ted Leonsis, third-year guard John Wall may make his season-debut on Saturday when Washington hosts the Atlanta Hawks.

"We play next on Saturday night at home and it is possible but not quite certain, for the first time all season, that we could dress all of our players," Leonsis wrote. "I don't want to jinx it, but we are all hoping that is what we will see."

Wall, who has been sidelined since late September with a stress injury in his left patella, has participated in basketball activities for the past month and has been working out prior to the start of the Wizards' last three games.

Washington has sorely missed their No. 1 draft choice in 2010, and have stumbled to a league-worst 5-28 record in his absence.

Over his first two seasons, Wall has averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 assists.
